The challenge
Stadtwerke Gießen, municipal utility operator in Germany, used several systems for processing their internal processes and storing their data. The employees desired a solution that centrally maps all workflows and data on a user-friendly interface. The existing dg hyparchive solution was to be merged with the SAP systems of Stadtwerke.
The intrexx solution
With little effort, Stadtwerke Gießen created a portal using the low-code platform Intrexx, where all data and applications from dg hyparchive and SAP were clearly bundled. Work processes have been significantly streamlined thanks to low-code with just a few clicks.
With Intrexx, we were able to make many workflows more user-friendly. The integration of systems also allows us to incorporate the process of revision-safe archiving of documents into the normal workflow, without additional effort for the users.
A central workplace
Stadtwerke Gießen links all their systems to one central Intrexx portal.
With the help of the low-code platform Intrexx, the employees of Stadtwerke designed a digital workplace that optimally supports them in their activities. Their new Digital Workspace creates a central work interface and efficient processes. The previous, time-consuming switching between work surfaces and different software will no longer be necessary.
"dg hyparchive" and SAP linked on a central platform
By merging "dg hyparchive", Intrexx, and SAP, a portal was created that brings all relevant information together in one place. The applications created with Intrexx serve as input masks for data to be stored in dg hyparchive. Fields generated by Intrexx can be directly transferred to SAP.
Own applications for optimized workflows
Common calendars, the document archive, a knowledge database, company organization charts, and efficient management of forms and work tools: Thanks to low-code, the departments of Stadtwerke Gießen developed their own web-based applications, simplifying daily work and promoting communication between employees and departments.

The employees continuously improve their portal thanks to low-code.
Thanks to the low-code approach, the employees of Stadtwerke Gießen were actively involved in the development of their portal and could communicate their requirements for the platform. This ensured that the solution perfectly fits the needs of each individual department.
The departments themselves develop their own applications, with which contract returns can be managed automatically, incoming mail processed optimally, and the company's printing effort reduced – all with minimal programming knowledge.
